First trip to the coast

Last weekend, Memorial Day weekend, Brady and I and Eliot took Eliot to the Oregon Coast. We went with our friends Sarah and Joe, and their 1-yr-old son, Isaac. Eliot liked putting his feet in the cold, wet sand (or, at least, he didn't protest, and he seemed to find it interesting). And despite our best efforts, he got a little bit pink on his cheeks (the pictures don't make it look like we were concerned about the sun, but when not taking pictures, we had a hat on him, and usually an umbrella over us, and of course sunblock on his face).
